Hi,

I’m James Ross, owner of JWRFilms.  I’ll give you a brief overview of my technical skill set and historical work record here, but feel free to use the contact form with any questions.

I’m currently the Director of Technology (and minority owner) at Minnesota Interactive , focusing on Linux server administration, web development, app security and SEO strategies.  We’re a full service web agency, offering everything from content support to completely custom web applications.

I also am an avid drone enthusiast, with a passion for aerial photography.  Quite a few of my videos have been syndicated through popular Youtube and Instagram channels.  I also am a big fan of long exposure and time-lapse photography.

I went to North Dakota State for a year, transferred down to the U of M to study political science for three years.  During college, I owned and operated a video game shop near of the U of M campus, where I would repair and refurbish consoles and other small electronics.

I also did sub-contracting work for Yahoo for a year, working with their now defunct Publishers Network, contributing to the projects dealing with contextual targeting for online communities.

In my personal life, I also DJ electronic dance music, and have had the opportunity to share the stage with multiple international electronic music stars, and play at clubs all over Downtown Minneapolis.
